I am a passionate Italian Chef & Cooking Enthusiast.
This is my personal website where I share my ideas, dreams and experiences about the hospitality industry.
I started my journey within the industry in Milan, Italy more than two decades ago. I learned the art of pizza making from a Neapoletan family. After gaining the necessary skills I decided to open my own business. Since then I have sold my business, moved across the world to Australia to pursue a formal education in order to better understand the sector and have gained invaluable experience from various roles within the industry.
Life has since brought me back to Europe and along the way I have gained what I consider to be a unique understanding of the challenges that the industry and businesses face.
On this website, I share my thoughts and ideas about how I think some of those challenges may be overcome. In addition, I will share some of the most delicious recipes and cooking hacks I have gathered along my journey.
The most important thing that I have learnt throughout my career is that being a skilled pizza maker is not enough. For a pizzeria to function fluidly, management and staff need to have comprehensive understanding of the workflow of the kitchen as well as the business as a whole.
Having been a business owner and entrepreneur I have first hand knowledge about the business aspects of running a restaurant. Combining this practical experience with the theoretical skills I have gained through my formal education, I am able to assist restaurants and pizzerias like no other pizza maker.
Additionally, I am a qualified carpenter and furniture maker. I have found these skills to be invaluable in the kitchen environment. I can take charge fast and react to issues when they arise.
In the past few years I have also learnt the ins and outs of digital marketing in my free time. I have utilised my skills in this field in making this website and I can also assist businesses in this area.
